AireCup Planter
Proven to Achieve Higher Yields

The Lockwood AireCup Planter uses a large diameter vacuum wheel to singulate potato seed. Using the large 30" wheel reduces skips and doubles. The narrow side-to-side arm spacing reduces seed richochet and bounce. The rearward velocity counteracts forward ground speed and the shorter drop height results in increased accuracy.

The electric/hydraulic system features automatic feed control, eliminating the need for adjustable feed gates, and keeps the correct amount of seed in the bowl. The AireCup planter has a new,strong frame that is shorter in the front to back length by 16-3/16". Aluminum fans have been added to replace the steel fans, reducing the fan weight from 90 lbs. To 21 lbs., which reduces start-up inertia.

Radar Hydraulic Drive
Population is always based on true ground speed. The radar gun constantly senses ground speed and relays it to the hydraulic drive. As an added benefit, the operator without leaving the tractor seat can change population. Single and Multi-Functional drive available
